Miffy and Friends | How a Little White Bunny Became a Global Stop-Motion Star

A little white bunny who loves to draw, her brave dog best friend, and a world of simple, beautiful adventures... sound familiar? 🐇🎨 Created by the legendary Dutch artist Dick Bruna, the series first aired on CITV from 3rd February 2003 and ran for three seasons until 2007. It consisted of 39 episodes, each split into two segments – giving us 78 charming stories. Presented in a beautiful storybook style, the show featured narration by Cyd Vandenberg (US/Canada) and Karin Hollreiser (UK/Australia/New Zealand), explaining the actions of the non-speaking characters. The show followed Miffy – an aspiring artist who loves to draw and write – and her wonderful friends, including Snuffy the brave brown dog, Boris the bear who loves building things, Poppy the pig, and many more. The show aired on KRO in the Netherlands, CITV in the UK, and Noggin in the US. With its simplified animations in basic colours and clear lines, gentle orchestral music, and timeless storytelling, it was the perfect introduction to television for the youngest viewers.
