When the mines run dry, Bill Wizzle and his best friend Rosie use a treacle-finder to discover a new vein – which happens to be home to treacle-loving creatures called Boggarts. Written by Brian Trueman (of Danger Mouse fame) and his son Jonathan Trueman, the show was packed with witty wordplay that worked for both kids and adults.
