A little boy in a baggy blue jumper, two older siblings who think he's a nuisance, and a black‑and‑white cat called Tailcoat who follows him everywhere... sound familiar? 👦🐱 First airing on Children's ITV on 26th September 1997, Series 1 kicked off this three‑series run with 13 episodes, each lasting 10 minutes. Narrated by the wonderful Peter Jones (who sadly passed away before production was completed, leaving Paul Vaughan to take over for later episodes), the show followed Titch's everyday adventures with his older siblings Mary and Peter, his parents, and his ever‑present cat Tailcoat. Each episode saw Titch trying to help out – from Making Biscuits and getting ready for The Fancy Dress Party, to building a cardboard spaceship in Spaceman Titch and attempting to tidy his room in Tidy Titch. But as the youngest, he was often belittled for being too little – a frustration any youngest sibling will recognise!
